Monday mornings 9 am to Noon (pastel and pencil/coloured pencil)
Monday afternoons 1 to 4 pm
Tuesday afternoons 1 to 4 pm
Friday mornings 9 am to Noon

One or two day workshops are offered on weekends at various times.

The downstairs area, which is used for classes, is wheelchair accessible.

The venue will not be opened until fifteen minutes before each session.

Classes are not held on public holidays.

There are easels in the studio, and some spare art materials are kept on the premises, including containers for water, and rags.

Apart from the Monday morning group, which concentrates on pastel and drawing only, the themes and mediums covered are varied, and the demonstrations and exercises cover every art medium.

The classes are structured around a basic art principle and/or technique, which is applied in a chosen art medium.

Participants are always free to bring along any project which requires completion, instead of the presented topic.

Classes are restricted to eight participants (there are working spaces for half a table for each participant, including two spaces in the back room, and sufficient easels).

The fee is $10 per hour, ($30 per session) with payment due in full at the beginning of each course (for example, for a four week course, you would be booking the spot and paying $120 the first week).

Each course usually runs for 4 to 6 weeks, and includes theory and exercises during the first week, and demonstrations throughout.

There is a cuppa break, with the tea and coffee provided (gluten and dairy free bring your own!).

Receipts are provided and credit for a future lesson given only in the case of illness.
